This piece reflects the transient nature of beauty and life, with delicate, organic forms that seem to blossom and fade within the same moment. The recurring circular motifs symbolize the cyclical nature of life, representing the endless cycle of growth, decay, and renewal.
This piece incorporates a variety of materials, including recycled materials, gouache paint, watercolor, yarns, strings, and fabric, to create a layered and tactile experience. The use of recycled elements reflects the idea of renewal and sustainability, echoing the life cycle’s constant transformation. Gouache and watercolor add a fluid, ephemeral quality to the composition, while the loose and cascading yarns and strings, as they fall from the piece, symbolize the inevitable process of decay. Together, these materials create a balance between fragility and resilience.
